Stand Out in a Dazzling Headpiece

Head Jewelry

In the fashion world, it is common to witness hot fashion trends fizzle out in a decade only to return in a later era as the same trend with just a tweak in style to satisfy the current generation, but rarely are we are graced with an innovative trend that takes the entire fashion world by storm. Needless to say, a new piece of eye-catching jewelry has arrived that is making designers and streetwalkers alike swoon, head jewelry.

Many cultures, including those in the middle east, integrate jewels and beads in a series of chains into head pieces that are worn for particular occasions. As of recently, the bejeweled head piece has made its way cross cultures to runways and now everyday fashionistas. Due to its unique design, head jewelry is the perfect accessory to complete a hipster outfit or to wear to an upscale dinner paired with a simple blazer.

One of the online retailers that began the trend of head pieces and other body jewelry is Litter. Founded on ABC’s show Sharktank, Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavricks Owner and Entrepreneur, took a great fashion concept by two sisters’ from California into a competitive online retailer of jewelry when the three made a deal. Since then,  Litter is featured in magazines like In Style  and worn by celebrities including Kelly Clarkson.

Personally I love Litter’s unique head pieces and body jewelry, here are some of my fav’s:

Native Headpiece

Antique Gold Layered Headpiece

Drugstore Cowboy Headpiece

Are you loving the new fashion trend of body jewelry?
