Yay & Nay Looks of the Golden Globe Awards 2013

Yay Best Looks

Yes, the 2013 Golden Globes finally arrived yesterday and the hollywood starlets came out to the red carpet to show off their slender physics in gorgeous designer gowns. The it look this award show that awed the crowd was sleek sparkly dresses. To go along with the classic bejeweled attire, stars like Nicole Richie and Isla Fisher wore their hair in side parts with soft curls to resemble vintage hollywood. Each of these leading ladies looked stunning on the red carpet.

Nicole Richie worked the red carpet in a blue Naeem Khan dress.

Isla Fisher looked stunning in a jeweled dress, channeling classic hollywood.

Emily Blunt looked absolutely gorgeous in Michael Kors, my favorite look of the night!

Jennifer Lopez showed up in a jaw-dropping lace Zuhair Murad gown.

Lea Michelle wore an ivory beaded Elie Saab number.

Nay Worst Looks

Unfortunately, where there is good there is also BAD and in this case very very BAD! Although, both Eva Longoria and Halle Berry are amongst hollywoods most beautiful women, the gowns they wore onto the red carpet did not do justice. Both women went more towards a sexy route with extremely high slits instead of trying a refined conservative feel. Eva and Halle alike are already hot enough that it felt unnecessary and forced to dawn gowns with so much going on. Considering the Golden Globes as one of Hollywood’s most respected award shows I would have love to seen either women channel a closed tight fitting dress that shows off their curvy bodies with possible slits waist high to give a small yet appreciated sense of daring and sexy.

Eva Longoria showed off skin in an Emilio Pucci dramatic gown.

Thanks for ‘liking’ my blog post!
Can’t wait to see what you say about the Oscar dresses because I completely agreed with your Golden Globe choices of ‘best and worst’!
